Amy said her passion for medicine began at an early age.
“While being raised by my grandparents, I saw what a huge role their healthcare providers played in their health and well-being,” Amy said. “I also witnessed my grandmother care for my grandfather and her parents which had a big impact on me growing up. My grandmother instilled in me the importance of getting an education and played a huge role in supporting and encouraging me throughout school.”
Because of that experience, patients can expect Amy to treat them with compassion and understanding, she said.
Amy lives in Norman with her husband, son and the grandmother who raised her. The family also includes two dogs. Together, the family enjoys golfing, mountain biking, hiking, snow skiing, swimming, scuba diving, gardening and crafting.
